First AASF Webinar on January 20, 2021

To start the new year with some great information, AASF will be hosting a webinar on January 20th at 6 pm AKST. The program entitled LiveATC.net—It’s here, how can we us it?  will feature LiveATC.net founder Dave Pascoe.  Joining him will be Jamie Patterson-Simes from SkyTrek Alaska Flight Training to provide a CFI perspective on how the site can help improve pilot skills, and Tom Simes, a LiveATC.net volunteer.  If you have ever wondered about how ATC recordings of newsworthy events appear on the internet, this session will answer that question. It will also address how you can benefit from hearing an unofficial recording of your own interactions with ATC or on a CTAF frequency.  Bring your questions and learn more from these panel members.

The event is co-hosted by the AOPA Air Safety Institute and is free of charge.  Registration is required, either in advance or at the start of the session. To register go to:  https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/187727728011891980

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
